Flawless Motion is owned and operated by Dr Margie Olds, a leading physiotherapist specialising in shoulder rehabilitation.
Margie's passion for helping people recover from shoulder injury and surgery led to the design of the Flawless Motion shoulder brace system. Since 2006, it has been recognised as a market leader in shoulder rehabilitative care and injury prevention — widely recommended by orthopaedic surgeons before and after surgery.
Her PhD research on risk factors for recurrent shoulder dislocation, and her Master's thesis on tissue properties in shoulder instability, underpin decades of hands-on experience with professional athletes and post-surgical patients.
Margie speaks internationally at shoulder conferences, has contributed to clinical textbook chapters on shoulder instability, and collaborates with research teams at the University of Otago (NZ), Auckland University of Technology (NZ), and the University of Kentucky (USA). She has published multiple research articles on clinical return-to-sport testing, including the Shoulder Arm Return to Sport (SARTS) assessment framework.
Before founding Flawless Motion, Margie served as team physiotherapist for the Great Britain Olympic Canoe and Kayak Team. Her work with elite athletes continues across rugby, netball, boxing, and multiple other professional disciplines.
